Gratitude

"I have known Denise as a Le Lache League Leader since my son was born 4 years ago in 2004.  She provided great support through several breastfeeding challenges that I experienced with him, so I did not hesitate to contact her again when my daughter was born a few months ago.  I had similar difficulties with breastfeeding this time around, but had the additional stresses of my husband being sick immediately following her delivery and a 4 year old in the house needing attention too.  With my own recovery just beginning and the sleep deprivation just starting to really effect me, Denise was quick to juggle her schedule and come and spend two full nights with me.  She coached me through several nursing sessions and cuddled my newborn baby between feedings, so I could get some much needed sleep.  This allowed my husband to get the sleep he needed to recover from his illness and have the energy to help with my son in the daytime.  Having Denise's support was a blessing that made a huge difference in our first few days at home as a family of four.:
